Cleanup is underway following the latest winter storm in Nova Scotia.
Snow mixed with ice pellets and high winds began early yesterday evening across the South Shore.
It has left many flights cancelled or delayed at Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
The Department of Transportation says roughly 15 centimetres of snow fell in this area.
Roads are snow covered and the wind is causing some visibility issues.
A minor power outage is affecting a handful of households on Cape Sable Island and near Port LaTour.
All South Shore Regional School Board schools are closed today, as well as schools in the Tri-County.
Centre Scolaire de la Rive- Sud in Cookville and the Waldorf School in Blockhouse are also closed.
The NSCC Shelburne and Burridge Campuses are closed today.
The NSCC Lunenburg Campus is closed until 10 – Officials will re-assess at 9 a.m.
