The case against six Bridgewater youth accused of having and distributing child porn is moving incrementally forward.
There are still a few steps before the pretrial can begin though dates have already been set for the end of July.
A preliminary consultation will take place next Wednesday.
Some tension could be felt in the courtroom this morning as crown prosecutors attempted to push forward with the consultation today.
However, defense lawyers expressed they hadn’t been given enough time to properly prepare.
The judge suggested proceedings couldn’t go much further without pleas being entered into the record.
It is expected those will come during the consultation which is scheduled for 11 a.m.
