Privateers Drop Game 3; Mooseheads Clinch Playoff Spot

The South Shore Ice Sharks Peewee 'B' hockey team won the Gary L. Wentzell March Break Hockey Tournament. The Sharks defeated Acadia 4-1 in the championship game.

The Valley Maple Leafs held off the Liverpool Privateers 2-1 in game three of the Fred Fox Divisional Final. Stone Harnish scored the lone Privateer goal in the first period. Liverpool lead the series 2-1. Game 4 will be held on Sunday evening at 7:15 p.m at Queens Place Emera Centre.

The Halifax Mooseheads have clinched a spot in the postseason, despite falling 3-2 in overtime last night to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. Sherbrooke lost to Shawinigan, giving the Mooseheads their playoff berth. The Mooseheads play their final regular season game late this afternoon in Halifax against the Saint John Sea Dogs.
