Thousands of people are expected to be demonstrating by mid-day.
Teachers are up in arms over the McNeil government's plan to impose Bill 75; legislation that would force a four-year contract.
Some teachers used yesterday's law amendments session at the Legislature to tell politicians about their daily life inside the classroom include verbal and physical abuse from students.
They also stated that Bill 75 would not improve those conditions.
MLAs are expected to sit at Province House until this evening before the bill goes to final debate early next week.
