A safety concern will be rectified at a busy intersection in Liverpool.
Traffic lights at Bristol Avenue and Milton Road will be upgraded to include audible tone signals.
The work will be done Thursday.
Region of Queens Mayor, David Dagley, says it will help those who are visually-impaired.
"The intersection is not friendly to those that are visually-impaired. Looking at what was possible to improve the intersection for their usage, it was determined we would provide an audible signal."
The cost of the upgrades is over $16,000 and the work is contracted.
If the traffic lights are out of service Thursday, treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
