The provincial election campaign is underway and already, polls are open.
Until election day, Nova Scotians can vote for their local candidate from any returning office in the province.
Returning Officer for Lunenburg, Joseph Carnevale explains.
“We call that a continuous poll. You can come in anytime and vote at our station. They’ll take your name, check you on the database, then they’ll give you a ballot and you can vote right there.”
All 51 Returning Offices in NS open Mon-Sat 9am-6pm. Early voting possible. Find your returning office: https://t.co/TyGFm01FgY #nsVotes

Carnevale says even if a candidates name isn’t on the ballot yet, you can still vote.
“At this point you’re voting for the party, but whoever represents the party in this district, they get the vote.”
