Once again this year, Canada has ranked higher than the U.S. in the World Happiness Report. Canada came in 7th with the U.S. slipping from 13th to 14th.

A Canadian who's working as a journalist in the U.S. isn't surprised. F-H Buckley  writes for the American Spectator and says there's now more upward mobility in Canada than the U.S. where people are angrier because of what he calls income immobility and the feeling of parents that their children will be worse off than they are.

Buckley, who attended McGill, says Canada has become a more egalitarian society than the U.S.
