Operating a boat while impaired has led to a charge against a Big Tancook Island man.
The 34 year-old was out on the water Sunday when he was met by RCMP, who were conducting patrols between Chester and Mahone Bay.
The man will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court in September.
Police also issued six warnings for violations under the Liquor Control Act.
Another four warnings were given to boaters who were operating a vessel without a valid license.
RCMP also loaned out life jackets to boats that didn’t have enough to make sure everyone was safe.
