The Town of Bridgewater finally has a representative on the South Shore Regional School Board.
Michael Stewart won Saturday’s special election over Iris Charlton.
Stewart collected 501 votes while Charlton received 144 in the unofficial count.
The results will become official on Tuesday.
Stewart won the school board election last October.
However, he was disqualified after revealing he was a substitute teacher during the election.
Stewart and Charlton were the only two candidates in the fall as well.
Returning Officer Ted Bulley says voter turnout was 10.6%.
All voting for the special election was completed electronically.
