Alysena 28 Birth Control Recalled Due To Chipped Pills

Health Canada has issued a recall for certain packs of Alysena 28, which is a birth control pill.

The affected packages contain 21 active pink pills and 7 inactive white pills.

Some of the active pills could be chipped, and may reduce the effectiveness in preventing pregnancy.

Before taking the pill, remove it from the blister package and examine it closely.

Do not consume them if they have chipped or jagged edges.

Alysena 28 (DIN 02387883), lot LF10133A, expiry date 10/2019

If you discover your pack has been affected, return it to the pharmacy for a replacement.
