A health care rally held last month in Shelburne is just the beginning of an effort to hold government accountable.
Mayor Karen Mattatall says if the province thinks the rally was the last that the government will hear about people's frustration over health care delivery in Shelburne, then they're wrong.
She says the November 5th rally was just the beginning.
"This isn't a one-time thing. We intend to keep the pressure on the province until they understand that there's a crisis and it needs to be fixed."
Mayor Mattatall says the rally has encouraged other communities that are struggling as Shelburne is to understand that it's ok to push back.
She says if communities speak loudly enough then perhaps they can effect some positive change.
