An area of Chester is getting a few more visitors than usual.
The QEII Home Lottery is underway and one of the grand prizes is an oceanview cottage in Chester Basin.
It is just over 1,800 square feet and located on Skipper Hill Drive.
Warden Allan Webber says it’s a beautiful home and location.
“The type of promotion it’s getting across the province and probably the Maritimes, we couldn’t possibly afford to profile our community in that positive way.”
The winner of the cottage also receives $10,000 cash and one year unlimited golf at Chester Golf Club.
Proceeds from the lottery go towards the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.
The winner of the cottage will be announced in May.
