New data has been handed over to the Bridgewater Police Service involving questionable images at a local school.
Chief John Collyer says an American service provider has given them information following a six month wait.
The investigation itself has been ongonig for roughly nine months.
Nine boys were suspended last May at Bridgewater Junior-Senior High School after allegations of nude or partially clad images of other students being shared on electronic devices.
Collyer says the information is being evaluated.
“Some follow-up questions have arisen out of that information, which we’re currently pursuing the answers to. We hope to have some movement on the investigation here in the near future.”
Collyer couldn’t identify the information, saying there is potential charges to be laid.
Police also won’t identify the electronic application used to share the photos.
