It seems the Montreal Canadiens are the NHL team of choice in our province.
A recent survey conducted by Corporate Research Associates indicates 20 per cent of Nova Scotians prefer the Habs.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are right behind the Canadiens at 19 per cent, while the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins are tied for third at six per cent.
17 per cent say they have no favourite team and another 17 per cent say they don’t watch hockey.
Overall, 26 per cent of Atlantic Canadians picked Montreal as their favourite team, followed by the Maple Leafs at 20 per cent.
The results are part of the CRA Atlantic Quarterly phone survey, and is accurate 95 out of 100 times.
