The North American House Hippo has returned to our homes!
Back in 1999, the House Hippo first invaded our home with a very effective and memorable PSA (that played non-stop on YTV) teaching kids that not everything they see or hear is real!
In 2019, that message seems more relevant than ever! MediaSmarts, the company behind the original ad, has released a new video on the House Hippos to remind us that not everything online is truthful.
Oh, and the House Hippo even rides a Roomba!
The House Hippo seems to be interested in Socks. I don’t know what they do with them, but I hope they don’t eat them! (especially mine)
