With the New Year celebrations upon us, many businesses and services will have altered hours of operation.
Most major grocery stores close at 6 tonight and are closed tomorrow. All NSLC locations are open until 6 p.m. tonight and are closed on New Year’s Day.
Non-emergency government offices will be closed both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Normal garbage collection is taking place on the 31st with none taking place on New Year’s Day. Christmas trees may be placed outside starting on January 13th.
Most independent businesses in the area will observe reduced hours for New Year’s Eve with most being closed on New Year’s Day.
