Dr. Robert Strang announced today that Nova Scotia has 5 more presumptive cases and two others have been confirmed.
That brings the total of presumptive cases to nine and confirmed cases to three.
The province says all 12 people are in self-isolation and recovering at home. Dr. Strang was able to confirm no patients were experiencing severe symptoms at this time.
Despite the NSHA saying yesterday they wouldn’t be releasing information on the whereabouts of cases Dr. Strang said ” They are located across the province. Northern Nova Scotia is the only region without a positive case of COVID-19 at this time.”
Premier Stephen McNeil, Health Minister Randy Delorey and Dr. Robert Strang, the province’s chief medical officer, will address media this afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
