Despite now being a bad time for most businesses the Municipality of Chester still thinks they ought to be recognized.
It was announced today that the online nomination process for The Best of Chester Municipality awards had opened.
Members of the community can nominate the best businesses from the area in 23 unique categories from the best realtor to the best artisanal retailer.
“We are excited, once again, to have the opportunity to celebrate businesses in the Municipality,” says Warden Allen Webber. “Especially during this time of crisis, we need to acknowledge the economic stability and contributions that our local businesses offer and the outstanding services they provide.”
Nominations can be made through chester.ca/bestof. Voting is open until April 29, residents can vote one time daily per device. After that, the nominees will be made public at which point a new round of voting will take place. Winners will be announced on June 6.
The only rule for entry is that all businesses must operate within, or have an office located in, the Municipality of Chester boundary.
