This weekend the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg will be opening most of it’s parks and trails for the first time in three months.
In a release the Municipality says anyone visiting the parks will have to observe physical distancing and gatherings of more than five people are prohibited.
All playground equipment will also remain closed due to concerns with high volume touch surfaces.
Public bathrooms will be closed at all of the listed parks as the Municipality says they are unable to ensure there cleanliness, though they say they are working on a solution.
The following parks and trails will open on Saturday, May 16.
- Church Lake
- Indian Point
- Indian Path Common Park
- LaHave Sunset Park
- MARC
