The Town of Bridgewater announced in a Facebook post that the O’Regan’s Subaru Outdoor Pool will not be opening this summer.
The post says that “limited information” from the the on physical distancing made it nearly impossible to coordinate plans to open.
Last week, Premier Stephen McNeil said Nova Scotia will not reopen more businesses or relax physical distancing restrictions until they saw a prolonged period of low case numbers.
The decision was made by Bridgewater’s Town Council in an effort to protect their constiuents and staff.
Work is underway to find alternative programs that will allow people to cool off, though no details have been made available at this time.
