A teenage girl and an 18-year-old man were killed in a car crash on September 1 and two other occupants sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Two occupants survived the crash one of whom was the driver and the other was another male passenger whos age has not been disclosed.
The crash took place on Highway 358 near Canard, Nova Scotia during daylight hours.
Kings District RCMP say that the vehicle lost control, crossed the median then struck a utility pole, and rolled over.
Driving conditions are not believed to be a factor as RCMP Public Information Officer Jennifer Clarke says the conditions were dry and sunny at the time of the accident.
The exact age of the girl has not been released as RCMP are awaiting the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s office to confirm her identity.
RCMP say the investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing and they are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
