In 2019, Collins Dictionary’s Word of the Year was Climate-Emergency… which is kind of cheating if you ask me. Climate-Emergency is two words loosely tied together with a dash. If they’re comfortable playing so fast & loose with their rules, then they should’ve named 2020’s Word of the Year as Never-Ending.
