A man from Antigonish has been arrested for impersonating a police officer.
RCMP say they’ve seized a vehicle that looks like an unmarked police vehicle.
They say they believe the man, 23, may have used the mock cruiser to pull over vehicles in Antigonish Co. and the Halifax area.
Police say he was arrested at a home in Antigonish without incident; he’s been released on conditions, and is scheduled to appear in Antigonish Provincial Court March 24.
They say there may be unreported incidents of this happening between Antigonish and Halifax, and they want people to contact them if it happened to them, or if they saw the vehicle.
RCMP say the vehicle is a white 2013 Ford Taurus with reflective striping along both sides; it has a microphone attached to the dashboard, LED lights, and a black push bar mounted on the grill.
