Nova Scotia is expanding its COVID-19 vaccination plan with an additional 15 pharmacy locations set to offer the Moderna vaccine.
Previously 25 pharmacies and physician offices were administering the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to Nova Scotians who are 60 to 64 years old.
Fifteen locations are being added to the existing roster and locations were selected to provide a wide geographic spread.
The pharmacies open for booking Monday, March 22, for Nova Scotians who are 80 and older include:

- Sentrex Pharmacy, 315 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax

The province says they plan to administer 2,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines at the new pharmacy clinics during their first week of operation.
