The Liverpool Privateer are looking to keep their season alive as they are set to play the East Hants Penguins in an elimination game on Tuesday night.
The Privateers go into the game trailing in the best of seven series 3-1.
Head Coach Paul Strople is hopeful his team can rediscover the regular-season form that led them to a second-place finish.
He says if his team can keep the game close he has confidence they can win the series.
“I think overall our offense should be better than theirs, but they have done well playing a shutdown game to try and limit us so we need grit and fight to battle through that.”
Adding to Strople’s optimist is the fact that Game 5 will be played at Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool, “We should get about 200 fans in there supporting us, and as the home coach I get the final chance to make line adjustments.”
Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. and for those unable to get tickets the game will be live-streamed on the Privateers Facebook page.
