The Liverpool Pizzeria posted on their Facebook page this afternoon informing their customers that the business’s director has tested positive for COVID-19.
In the post, the pizzeria explains the director never entered the business as he was self-isolating but his wife picked him up at the airport on March 18 and she has since had some interaction with the business’s staff.
In order to allow their staff to get tested the business has closed, its doors and will reopen them once testing data is returned, provided there are no positive results.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority has not confirmed any of the information in the pizzeria’s post but the case data released by the province for March 30 included a case in the Western Zone which lines up with the timeframe provided by the pizzeria.
