A dozen years ago I discovered the almost perfect ice cream cone. While visiting my son and his family in Rimouski, Quebec we stopped on a hot summers day at a chocolatier.
Now I’m not a huge fan of chocolate and I wasn’t that impressed with all the gourmet chocolate creations in the shop. But at the back of the store they have an ice cream section.
There you can get their made on the premises soft ice cream in 3 flavours – vanilla, maple and chocolate along with a choice of several dips. They’re a chocolatier so obviously they offer a milk chocolate dip, also a dark chocolate dip, and because we’re in Quebec, maple dip.
An almost perfect ice cream cone. But only one thing would make a maple soft serve cone even better – butterscotch dip!
Dairy Queen is bringing back , for a limited time, butterscotch dip!
DQ hasn’t offered the butterscotch for at least a decade, so grab one while you can.
