The Liberals are set to release their full election platform on Day 19 of the provincial election campaign.
A news release says Iain Rankin will unveil “A Plan for Jobs and Growth” at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship in Dartmouth.
Meantime, the three main party leaders will participate in the Halifax Chamber of Commerce’s “A Conversation with the Candidates” event from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
NDP Leader Gary Burrill when then head to Dartmouth for a health-care announcement at 2 p.m. at Commodore Park.
Tory Leader Tim Houston will finish the day off pounding the pavement with candidates in the ridings of Clayton Park West, Dartmouth South, and Halifax Atlantic.
It was another busy day on the campaign trail on Tuesday.
Rankin promised to get the province off coal 10 years earlier than planned, committing to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 53 per cent below 2005 levels by 2030 and net-zero by 2050.
Houston released a plan for rural rinks, which includes a fund to help with repairs and maintenance and a $500 a child “Kids Activity Tax Credit.”
Burrill vowed to create more affordable housing through a $39.6 million investment per year for the next four years to build 1,000 new units.
