Lunenburg District RCMP have identified the person and vehicle of interest in the investigation into shots fired at a home on Hwy. 331 in Voglers Cove.
The investigation is continuing and the RCMP would like to thank the public for their help and sharing our posts on social media.
Lunenburg District RCMP is investigating after shots were fired at a house on Hwy. 331 in Voglers Cove.
Cpl. Chris Marshall says the homeowners initially thought they heard fireworks but after discovering bulletholes around their property they decided to contact police.
RCMP were called to the scene around 10:30 p.m. on October 1st through the homeowners first heard the shots approximately an hour earlier.
After analyzing surveillance footage from the area the RCMP released images of a person of interest along with the car they were driving.
Cpl. Marshall says upon inspecting the bullet holes they are confident a real firearm was used, ruling out the possibility it was an airsoft or pellet gun.
