Honestly, I don’t dislike any Christmas songs. The cheesier the better, I say. I revel in the badness of some of the Christmas classics.
However, friends , family and coworkers and listeners have let me know over the years what Christmas songs that they just can’t stand.
Some of my coworkers are not fans of classics like Snoopy’s Christmas and the Chipmunk Song.
Others do not want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. Or those Six White Boomers.
There’s a big contingent who are not crazy about the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey.
Christmas Shoes by Newsong almost made me cry the first time I heard it years ago. Now I laugh maniacally and enjoy it’s terrible story.
Many of you lost your Grandma to a reindeer accident and get triggered. I feel for you but I love that song.
