As a STAS Airport Pre-Board Screening Officer, your role is to ensure the safety of the travelling public through the screening of passengers and baggage. Your important role will also ensure that the screening of passengers is conducted in an efficient and friendly manner. We are currently hiring a number of individuals on a part time basis (up to 40 hours per week) at the Halifax airport.

Job Description
Pre-Board Screening officers must be people and customer service oriented, and have the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced enviroment while under pressure. You will screen passengers and their baggage using advanced technologies to ensure that prohibited items do not make it to the secure areas of the airport or onto flights. You are a dynamic individual who works well with a team and have confidence and integrity. You are able to follow and understand complex procedures and directives and enjoy working with technology .
