Our Athlete of the Week is 10-year-old Ransom Chetwynd of Lockeport
Sports Organization: Queens County Cougars
Ransom worked hard all season as the only goaltender on his team.
He set a goal at the beginning of the season and stuck with it to take home the AVMHL u11 championship along with his teammates. Ransom lives and breathes hockey.
In the summer he attends goalie training and also sails with the Shelburne Sailing Academy.
He also sails his own boat around the Lockeport Harbour which he saved up to buy all on his own.
As Athlete of the Week, Ransom won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater
