Correction: This story previously said both properties were zoned entirely marine industrial, some portions are zoned for residential use.
Colliers International has announced they are handling the sale of two major industrial properties in Lunenburg.
The commercial real estate agency says they are now accepting offers for the two properties that are being packaged together.
The first property is along the eastern portion of the main downtown waterfront, referred to as the Lunenburg Shipyard. It includes 13 parcels of land many of which contain marine industrial infrastructure including two marine railroads.
The second property is located near the innermost part of the town’s western harbour. It includes 14 parcels of land some of which include marine industrial infrastructure in addition to some vacant land.
The listing from Colliers indicates the second property has potential for multi-residential and commercial re-development or continued use as a working waterfront property.
In total, the listing includes 590,000 square feet over 27 lots on the iconic Lunenburg waterfront.
Although the listing has the properties packaged together, Colliers has said they will accept offers for portions of the listing on a case-by-case basis.
Colliers is now accepting applications from interested parties, who will be able to review private documents pertaining to the properties provided they agree to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
