After the last two touring seasons of the Bluenose II were derailed by the pandemic it will return to business as usual this year.
The Bluenose II has released its schedule which shows it will be staying close to home this summer, exclusively visiting ports in Nova Scotia.
With the pandemic limiting who could come aboard the vessel in the previous two years, the Bluenose II was unable to offer deck tours or cruises like it would in normal years.
Unfortunately, 2021 was the 100th anniversary of the original Bluenose and as such lots of special programming was planned to mark the ocasion.
The Bluenose II is currently being prepared for its 2022 season with rigging and other maintenance currently underway.
The majority of the crew is scheduled to arrive on June 1, after which they train for nine days in preparation for the season.
After training is complete the Bluenose II will be sticking around its homeport of Lunenburg offering the first deck tours and cruises of the season.
On June 20th, they will begin preparations for their first tour of the season, arriving in Yarmouth the following day.
The full schedule along with info on how to book a cruise or deck tour can be found on the Bluenose II webpage.
