After growing up with Queen Elizabeth II on all my coins and on the 20 dollar bill, it’s going to be jarring to see King Charles III replace her in the coming years.
In Australia, a member of the Commonwealth like Canada, they won’t be putting the new king on their bills.
Instead they will replace the queen’s portrait with something that “honours the culture and history of the First Australians.”
