Bridgewater, Nova Scotia – The Health Services Foundation of the South Shore announced a momentous contribution from Irving Oil and the Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation towards a groundbreaking expansion project at the South Shore Regional Hospital. The generous donation of $1 million will be allocated to the Brighter Days Capital Campaign, which aims to revitalize various departments within the hospital.
The redevelopment initiative encompasses significant upgrades to the emergency, day surgery, and endoscopy departments of the South Shore Regional Hospital. Additionally, the campaign will enable the inclusion of essential services such as dialysis, a SPECT-CT scan, and the South Shore’s inaugural MRI scanner. These enhancements will improve emergency care, patient experiences, and accessibility, resulting in an enhanced environment for patients, families, staff, and service users.
