I’ve been hoping that the ultra rich passengers on the Titan submersible are rescued in time.
But it got me thinking, what is it with the rich and risky behaviour?
Like going into space, which is 10,000 times more dangerous than commercial air travel.
Or cruise expeditions to Antarctica.
Climbing Mount Everest, or active volcanoes.
What motivates them? Are their lives boring?
Or are they looking for bragging rights among their other rich friends?
If trips to the Titanic or into space were more affordable, would you and I consider going?
Not me.
