Thousands are starting to arrive in Digby for the Wharf Rat Rally.
RCMP are out with their plans for the Labour Day weekend festival.
They say there will be traffic delays and road closures, and a heavy police presence to assist with no-parking zones and public safety.
The RCMP ask you to be aware of the traffic around you, wear light-coloured clothing at night, and not to walk in the middle of the road.
It’s also a good idea to give yourself extra time, and have patience when driving in and around the downtown area.
Police say they want everyone to have a fun and safe weekend.
