The Mahone Bay Centre is planning to add a podcasting/recording studio to their ranks in the upcoming year.
MBC Executive Chair Dave Stephens says the whole idea was made possible thanks to a donation of recording equipment from the former Coastal Villages Community Radio.
“Since we first posted about it online I’ve already had a significant amount of people come forward and tell me they’d be interested,” Stephens said.
The planning is still in the early stages and how the recording studio will operate remains to be determined. To that end the MBC is hosting a meeting onsite at on November 14, where they are inviting those who may be interested in using the facility to indicate what they’d like to see.
Although specific dates are still to be detemined Stephens says they hope to have the studio up and running by early 2024.
