My pizza tastes in toppings are fairly humdrum and mundane.
Sure, I like a Hawaiian pizza with pineapple to complement the ham, but I generally prefer a vegetable topping.
However, I read something the other day which made me rethink my choices for pizza toppings.
They said, if you have put something on bread or toast, then it would work as a pizza topping.
And this opened up a whole new world for me.
I would put tuna, salmon, sardines – just about any cold fish on a pizza since I’ve had them all on toast before.
I’ve eaten mac and cheese with a slice of bread, so a mac and cheese pizza sounds do-able.
Baked beans and toast go together, so I’m sure a baked bean pizza would be fun.
What have you eaten on bread or toast that might work for you on a pizza?
