For many of us, the best part of Christmas are the treats that only come out this time of year.
Obviously candy canes are the most popular candy, even with all the crazy flavours they are coming out with these days. You can get pickle, bacon, caesar salad, ham, hot dog and sour cream and onion candy canes. I’ll stick with peppermint even though I’m curious about the dill pickle ones.
I’m a big fan of chicken bones. I’ve got to have chicken bones for it be Christmas in my world.
The old fashioned barley toy candy is nice to look at, but I’m not interested in trying to eat it.
This is a treat, but not candy – many Lunenburg households have a tradition of Lunenburg pudding at Christmas.
Even though the Lifesaver books aren’t what they used to be, they are still a big part of Christmas for me.
