The power outage in Hubbards has been resolved, and there are now around 4,000 customers without power across Nova Scotia, with the majority located in the Noel Shore Rawdon area.
The first major snowstorm to hit mainland Nova Scotia this winter has caused power outages for about 10,000 homes.
The outages are mostly limited to the South Shore and Noel Shore, accounting for about 9,000 of the total outages.
The largest outage near Hubbards is being attributed to a transmission disruption- it is impacting about 3,500 homes and power is expected to be restored around 8 p.m., Monday night.
The only other major outage as of Monday afternoon is near the Noel Shore/Rawdow area where around 3,000 are without power.
In addition to the two major outages (over 2,000), there are a handful of smaller outages being reported around the province.
