When I was a kid, my grandmother, who had spent the first 14 years of her life in Northern England came to live with us.
That’s when I found out that a British Christmas tradition is to have brussels sprouts as part of Christmas dinner.
And to this day, it’s my least favourite Christmas treat.
I know some people who love to have chowder or Lunenburg pudding at Christmas and their kids are less than impressed.
For others, it’s eggnog everywhere you go during the season.
