Lunenburg West MLA Becky Druhan has announced a significant investment in local active living initiatives, bringing a breath of fresh air to Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
The Nova Scotia Government is injecting $22,800 into two key projects aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles. The Town of Bridgewater will receive $17,900 to enhance winter access to a local walking track. Simultaneously, HB Studios Sports Centre secures $4,900 to support the Wellness Wednesday Walking Program and Rainbow Social, catering specifically to 2SLGBTQIA+ Older Youth and Adults.
This injection of funds is a strategic move by the government to foster active living and overall well-being across the province. MLA Druhan highlighted the importance of these initiatives, emphasizing their role in keeping the community active and healthy, particularly during the challenging winter months.
