Queens District RCMP are investigating a deadly ATV crash that took Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly after 1 pm near the Old Port Mouton road where police found an ATV driver next to his ride that appeared to be involved in a crash.
The driver was identified as a 27-year-old Liverpool man who was declared dead at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate and a collision analyst is en route to assist with the investigation.
The Old Port Mouton Road is partially closed and RCMP said the analyst will need a few hours before it fully reopens with his arrival at the scene anticipated around 5:00 p.m., .
Until it’s reopened police are asking people to avoid the area if possible.
