RCMP in Halifax are investigating a fatal dirtbike collision that occurred Friday night.
Reports of a single-vehicle crash on Hwy. 2 in Wellington came in around 8:38 p.m.
The driver of the dirt bike, a 30-year-old Lower. Sackville man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The RCMP collision reconstructionist who attended the scene believes that the dirt bike had been travelling northbound on Hwy. 2 when it left the road and crashed.
The highway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
