The LaHave Cable Ferry will not operate on Thursday, August 8.
Staff who work on the ferry confirmed that work is being done to replace the cable which needs to be done every few years due to regular wear and tear.
The work is expected to be completed on Thursday, with the expectation that normal ferry service will resume on Friday, August 9.
