An updated school code of conduct is almost here.
Nova Scotia’s Education minister Brendan Maguire will highlight changes to the policy Tuesday morning.
The province heard from unions, educators and a student advisory council on what needs to be done to address violence in schools.
An auditor general report last summer said that staff were not able to handle the rising number of incidents.
Maguire said in January that it was his job to make sure staff and students have a safe environment.
