Do you have regrets about not going to college? Or perhaps you decided to go and get a degree but feel it wasn’t worth the time and expense?
Four million fewer teens enrolled at college last year compared to ten years ago.
Some decided not to attend because the price has gotten too high – tuition has increased by 12.5 per cent every year while the inflation rate was at 2.6 per cent.
Also, earnings for young college educated workers have stayed somewhat flat for the last 50 years.
And when you factor in the 30,000 plus student debt after graduation, it can take years to catch up with those without a degree.
On the other hand, once you do catch up, college educated workers rapidly surpass those without a degree.
Any regrets either way? Either going to not going?
