Lunenburg District RCMP are investigating a break-in at the Knot Pub that occurred early on the morning of New Year’s Day.
Videos shared by the Knot Pub on their social media pages show a masked man entering the rear of the building just before 6:00 a.m., the video then shows him forcibly enter the building before quickly exiting a few moments later with a small plastic bag of stolen goods.
In the video taken at the Knot the culprit did not remove his mask, however in videos taken at nearby Starr Street a few minutes earlier a man wearing the same clothes as those seen in the break-in video can be seen without his mask. In the video from Starr Steet another man is also present.
RCMP are now seeking help in identifying the two men and photos have been shared online, in hopes someone may recognize them.
Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to contact the RCMP detachment in Lunenburg or Nova Scotia Crimestoppers if you wish to remain anonymous.
